Evidence based therapies focused on regulation, development, and meaningful participation during childhood.
At Lumen Crest, we empower children during the most critical stage of their lives, childhood. Through a Neuroadaptive Therapy™ approach and Occupational Therapy, we aim to provide innovative sensory integration and primitive reflex integration therapies tailored to each child’s unique needs through evidence based strategies and cutting edge modalities to ensure meaningful progress.
We prioritize a family centered approach, ensuring that families are fully involved in their child’s therapy journey by providing the resources needed for active participation. Our goal is to provide lasting change that extends far beyond therapy.
Lumen Crest provides individualized pediatric therapy services focused on regulation, development, and functional participation, using evidence based and family centered approaches.
Pediatric occupational therapy evaluations provide a comprehensive look at a child’s strengths and areas of need related to regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, and daily functioning. The evaluation process includes clinical observation, caregiver input, and play based assessment to better understand how a child engages with their environment.
Based on the evaluation findings, individualized treatment sessions are designed to support each child’s unique needs through a play based, sensorimotor approach. Intervention focuses on building regulation, confidence, and functional skills that support participation at home, school, and in everyday routines. Family education and collaboration are an essential part of the process to promote meaningful carryover and long term success.
Neuroadaptive Therapy™ Intensives are short term, focused programs designed to support nervous system regulation, motor organization, and functional participation through a highly individualized approach. These intensives combine sensorimotor occupational therapy with cutting edge neuro based modalities, including low level light therapy, to support neural readiness, regulation, and adaptive change.
Modalities are used as adjunctive tools and are thoughtfully integrated with movement, play, and functional activities. Intensives are offered in a one week format, with sessions lasting one to two hours per day, and may be extended to two weeks based on individual needs and goals. This model is ideal for families seeking a concentrated therapeutic experience, flexible scheduling, or additional support during periods of transition or increased need.
Primitive reflexes are early movement patterns that support development in infancy. When these reflexes remain active beyond early childhood, they can impact regulation, coordination, posture, attention, and daily functioning.
Primitive Reflex Integration at Lumen Crest is a movement based, sensorimotor approach that supports the nervous system through intentional, play based activities. Rather than treating reflexes in isolation, the focus is on building the foundations for organized movement, regulation, and functional participation.
Intervention is individualized and may include sensorimotor movement, postural and core support, bilateral coordination, proprioceptive and vestibular input, and regulation focused strategies. Families are supported with simple home activities and education to encourage carryover into daily routines. This approach is part of a comprehensive occupational therapy plan designed to support confidence, regulation, and participation in everyday life.
Laser Therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive therapeutic modality that uses specific wavelengths of red, infrared, and violet light to support cellular function and neurological regulation.
This therapy works by stimulating cellular activity, helping reduce inflammation, support nervous system balance, and promote healthier brain function. It is commonly used to assist individuals facing brain-based challenges such as traumatic or acquired brain injuries, attention and regulation differences, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and cognitive processing concerns.
At Lumen Crest, laser therapy is intentionally integrated with our NeuroAdaptive Therapy™ Intensives. This combined approach enhances neural responsiveness and supports more effective and lasting therapeutic outcomes, creating an environment where the brain can adapt, regulate, and heal more efficiently.

Maria Francisca OrtizTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had such a positive experience with our son’s week of OT intensives. From the very beginning, Ellie built an incredible rapport with him and made him feel safe and comfortable. He genuinely loved the sessions and was excited to work with her each day, which says so much. Ellie used a variety of modalities tailored to his needs, and we noticed a clear difference — he was noticeably more regulated and calm after each session. As a parent, it was such a relief to see him engaged, supported, and benefiting so quickly. I 100% recommend Ellie to any parent looking for compassionate, effective OT support. She recently did an OT screening for my daughter, and I was so impressed by how thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate she was throughout the entire process. In just a short time, I learned so much about what was going on with my daughter and finally felt like I had some real clarity and direction. Elizabeth took the time to explain everything and made us feel supported and understood during what has been a very difficult stage of our journey. I’m so thankful for the care and attention she gave to my daughter and our family.
